If you want to get the jump on your competition, sales force automation is a must.

If a company is to grow and expand with the changing technology, one thing they should consider is implementing sales force automation. Sales force automation can be as simple as a piece of software or an entire package installed on the company’s operating system. Both are designed to have the same results, increase the bottom line of the company. Sales force automation is imperative if they want to achieve their desired growth.

Sales force automation can be targeted to specific departments or areas of the company. Companies can use sales force automation strictly in the sales department or maybe in the order processing department. Typically in small to mid-size companies, sales force automation is used as a primary way to help the sales force increase the sales of the company.

Being in sales, I strongly recommend that you learn more and seriously consider using a sales force automation system.

The Best I Have Ever Seen

How many times have you just wanted a simple step-by-step
instruction for something? When you make a presentation to a prospect and they are excited about your product, what do you do after the meeting is over? Do you forget them or do you follow up?

Don't be one of those people who totaly forget about the great meeting and move on waiting for them to call you. If you do, chances are your phone will never ring. Instead, call the prospect within 48 hours (better within 24) and follow up with them. Ask some pointed questions that re-affirm their excitement from your presentation. And always...AAFTO, Always Ask For The Order! After all, you don't get paid to make presentations, you get paid to sell.

If you implement a follow up plan into your sales cycle, you will close more sales, and therefore make more money. You add another customer to your list and that gives you another opportunity to up sale them or even sell them another product. Sales is not a numbers game, it is a well laid out plan.

Now follow up for sussess.
EasyCGI.com - Save 20% on Web Hosting!

Eliminate Your Debt and Clear Your Mind

If you are finding yourself at the end of your rope financially, if you have a heavy burden of debt on your shoulders and are looking for a debt elimination system, the first thing you must understand is that debt elimination system is not a debt consolidation system.

The goal is to become debt free and not to just consolidate your debt. Sorry, I need to take care of this little thing on the side of my desk. Now I'm ready. Well hang on, someone is calling me from the other room...

As you can see, there are many little interruptions that can cause you to lose valuable time when you are working on a project that is important and you want to complete it today. Focus, is the topic for today. You have to learn to focus daily on whatever it is you may be working on and not let the small distractions side track you. Also, you will accomplish so much more by working only on one project at a time. By focusin daily on one project at a time, you will complete more work rather than have bits of projects which are incomplete. So how do you to it? The phone rings just when you are in the middle of a hot project, someone is having an issue with a customer on the phone, people demanding your time, the list goes on. So what do you do when you lose your focus?

It is not always easy to regain your focus but one way is to get up and walk away, step back from your project for a moment, and when you return, you will be in a better frame of mind and can focus in on your task at hand. Sure life can derail you but if you keep your desired results, your goal in site, and focus in, you will be the victor.

Starting Your Home Business

The lure of working from home is drawing more people to the hopes of building a home based business than ever before. There are many times you may not feel like or even want to do anything to promote your business and that is fine but you won't make any progress just sitting back and waiting. You have to take the lead and move toward your next step or goal. Once you have taken enough steps and finally reach your destination, then and only then should you sit back.

However, for most successful people, the destination is never really reached. Is it based on a dollar amount, maybe a percentage of growth or is it "finding customers who need your product" which it should be?

This may be more complicated than you might think. You are not creating a new market. The advice that says "find a need and fill it" is getting harder each day.

What today's sales person must do to succeed is find requirements they can fill among those that are sought after, qualified buyers who know that the choice is theirs when it comes to choosing a new widget or service.

You have to tailor your approach to the requirements of your prospect that set shows you have the solution to their need better than anyone else. After all, you are not the only one who has a solution to the requirements.

A good sales person does not make the "virgin" prospect their core cncern. Their objective is not to identify a need for the widget, rather get a lead on the type of widget the buyer whose requirements they can satisfy better than anyone else needs and fill that requirement. In other words, not every prospect will be your customer. Find those whos needs you can fill and satisfy, and they will be more likely to become a lifetime customer.

Look at each lead as a sales relationshop, and remember that relationships take time to develop.

To your sales success.
Ocha

PS...Every good sales person is organized and knows the state of their business. Be sure you have your business in good order with a business planner from FranklinCovey.

Stop Sabotaging Yourself

So many people wander through life without having a clue as to what their true purpose in life is, let alone how to discover it and act on it to enrich not only their lives, but the life of others.

That's why I wanted to take a break from the sales habits I have been giving you to let you know about this fantastic product that will help you discover that little whisper, "The Roar From Within." Once you get your copy of this and absorb every word, you will then be able to take your life to another level.

Just imagine a life where you leap out of bed every morning ready to greet and tackel a new day. We have a lot to go over, but during this part of my visit I want to give you some information about my company and what it is we do..."

Another example would be:
"Mr. Prospect, at this stage of our relationship, I'd like to ask a couple of simple questions that will help me find out a few ways we can help you."

At each step of your sales visit, you can let your prospect know exactly where you are so that they will understand the progression of your intent.

Many sales people work hard at trying to "offend" the prospect and never get to the point of why they are there. You have to take charge. When a sales meeting ends in a result-free limbo, neither party is quite sure as to what to do next.

If you come to a point and the prospect says, "Hold on, wait a minute. I'm not ready for that yet. You're moving too fast for me," then that is ok. You need this sort of information in order to understand there are still problems or issues and you need to work on them.

It's better to find out and isolate problems by updating your prospect throught the sales cycle, than it is to come to the closing and find out there are still problems. Or worse, have them say no and never have them fully understand why they need your product.

So always "take the lead" and let your customer know where you are during the cycle and you will find you will close more oders and build a longer relationship with your new customer.

That's it for this lesson. The next one will be on helping you find out key requirments.

Now get out there and Take The Lead.
Ocha

Are You Asking The Right Questions?

What do you do when a prospective customers throws an objection up at you? Do you stutter and balk, trying to come up with an answer? If you want to overcome this, then read on.

You need to ask important questions. Ask real questions that address the situation and not a question that has nothing to do with what your prospect is objecting to. Never waste your prospects time. No when it is time to move beyond the pointless observations on his office decor, golf or weather. You came to do business so get to the business.

So how do you transition into the business end of things? A simple question such as "how long have you been with your company" will yeild some remarkable insights into the kind of person you are working with.

One question you should always ask it what I call AAFTO. "Always Ask For The Order"
Of course there is the proper time to ask this, but you will miss 100% of the orders you don't ask for.

That's the lesson for today. Now, go out and Take The Lead.
Ocha

PS...If you want to learn more about questions and objections you may encounter in your sales career, then I highly recommend you check out this great piece of information by Bob Firestone. Read more now Click Here

The Real Thing

Too many sales people seem to focus on whether or not they have learned to "appear" trustworthy, and that's not the point. You want to develop and earn the reputation for following through on everything that comes out of your mouth - everything.

If you tell a customer or prospect you will call at 9:00am, then call at 9:00am, not 9: 05. Even better, call at 8:55am. Punctuality is a very important trait of a successful salesperson.

Should you think such minor details have no persuasive power, then you are wrong. Especially at the beginning of your relationship with your prospect, those "details" are all he or she has to go on.

Don't make lavish promises and fail to produce and follow through on the details. If you do, then you will be like every other salesperson. That's not your goal. You want to stand out as a trustworthy person that walks the walk. Your goal is success.

Relationships are built on trust, and trust is built on evidence. To be the successful leader, you must demonstrate that you are unfailingly dependable, in everything. Develop these habits and you will be the real thing. You will be the successful salesperson.

Success won't wait, you have to go get it.
Ocha

PS...If you are looking to improve your public speaking, then you need to check this out.
http://www.infoworthsharing.com/instspeak.html

Communicate Sound Business

Communicating the message that it is sound business to trust you will get you further in your sales career than some of the "tricks of the trade" ever will.

You should always be sending and reinforcing the message that it is a good business decision to trust you. Then you must insure that you are trustworthy.

Never use cheap tricks to gain the trust of your customers. Can you imagine a salesperson that sells cars call up people and tell them "Hey you won a free turkey" come on down to get it just to get them to the dealership?

If you sell turkeys, talk about turkeys. If you sell cars, talk about cars.

A successful sales person makes a good leader because they inspire trust. Have the self-assurance to say to people, "Follow me" and if you can do this, you will win long-term customers.

When you build trustworthiness, then you are building leadership skills. So what makes a good leader?

A good leader has a vision.

A good leader commands respect.

A good leader sees the big picture.

A good leader knows when to change directions.

A good leader points out problem areas and is ready to discuss solutions.

A good leader has confidence in both approach and attitude.

A good leader is accountable.

The sum of all these traits add up to true trustworthiness. True trustworthiness is the mark of a successful salesperson.

To your sales success.

Ocha
